Editorial & Fact-Checking Policy

Our strict 4-tier verification protocol, corrections workflow, and ethical standards governing all sports reporting and betting reviews.

1. The 4-Tier Verification Protocol

Before any match schedule, gate policy, ticket advisory, or sportsbook review is published, it must pass 4 verification tiers:

  • Primary Source Verification: Ticketing dates must match official SM Tickets bulletins; PFL fixtures are reconciled with PFF commissioner records.
  • Regulatory Legal Verification: Any sports betting operator mentioned must hold an active, verified commercial license from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). We strictly ban coverage of unlicensed offshore illegal betting sites.
  • Physical Field Audit: Gate access points, bag size limits, and LRT-1 walking distances are verified through on-the-ground visits at the Malate complex.
  • Senior Editor Sign-Off: All content undergoes review by our Lead Sports Editor for clarity, neutral tone of voice, and anti-slop compliance.

2. Corrections & Transparency Policy

We believe in immediate, transparent accountability. If a match date shifts, ticket prices change, or an error is identified:

Readers can submit correction notices directly to editorial@rizalmemorialstadium.com with the subject “Correction Notice”. Our editorial desk investigates within 24 hours, updates the text, and appends a visible correction timestamp note at the bottom of the affected article.

3. Commercial Disclosure & Affiliate Independence

Some of our sportsbook comparison guides contain affiliate tracking links. However, editorial rankings are 100% independent. We will never rank an operator higher based on commercial commissions. Operators that fail PAGCOR licensing checks, delay GCash/Maya withdrawals, or fail consumer protection audits are permanently excluded.
